Liverpool Students Graduate in Style

Last month was a proud month for Liverpool’s students and their families. With all the lectures, essay writing and revising finally behind them, the 2011 graduates enjoyed their moments of glory as they were awarded their well-deserved certificates in some of Liverpool’s finest landmark buildings.

Our Universities know how to host a celebration, with Liverpool University holding their Graduation Ceremony at the beautiful Philharmonic Hall, John Moores University at the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, and Hope University holding their ceremony at the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.

By all accounts the ceremonies were fantastic, and as usual Liverpool saw many proud cap and gown clad graduates strolling around the city to and from ceremonies, celebratory gatherings, family restaurant bookings and any other excuse for champagne guzzling.

So, we waved goodbye in style to class 2011 as the next round of final year students step up to the mark ready for September. Congratulations everybody, we hope you got some nice photos for your mum’s mantelpiece and that the big wide working world is kind to you.
