Save Big This Black Friday

Black Friday’s in full swing and if you’ve seen any of the nationwide coverage about the day, you’ll know what we mean when we say some people have got slightly carried away with the whole idea of bargain hunting.

Although seeing scenes of people shoving past others to get their hands on a brand new TV make us slightly worried for the human race, we do understand that on a student budget and as its so close to Christmas, it’s important to save the pennies when you can. And that’s why we’ve put together some of the best bargains to be had this weekend…

Clothes/Beauty

-Topshop are running up to 50% on selected lines and there’s some winter coats in the mix, if you’re beginning to feel the chill.

-Zara has 20% off on selected outerwear/jumpers.

-Miss Selfridge has up to 50% off everything.

-Adidas has 30% off many products.

-ASOS is offering 20% off everything this weekend and with lots of great brands in stock, this is the perfect place to do your Christmas shopping.

-Weavers Door in Liverpool has 10% off until midnight tonight.

-Liverpool based make-up experts, Peaches and Cream, are offering 10% off until noon tomorrow.

-Boots have great deals on fragrances and other selected items.

 

Electricals/Uni Supplies

-If your laptop or printer is on it’s last legs, head to PC World or Curry’s to find discounts on big names.

-John Lewis has some great deals on MacBooks and iPads at the moment (along with Tesco.)

-Amazon have been running fantastic deals all week and they’re set to continue across the weekend. If you have access to text books/course material for next semester, get yours in while they’re slightly cheaper.

-Independent Liverpool are offering 25% off their cards today- if you haven’t got one, you need one!

 

Remember, only buy something if you need it (rather than being swayed by the price) and don’t spend all of your remaining student loan at once!
