Plan the perfect Student Christmas this year
Rounding off a stressful first term in University by celebrating Christmas in style is one of the many things to look forward to this December. The best news is that you’ll be able to have two Christmases as well; one filled with drinking games and fancy dress in your student house and perhaps a more subdued affair at home with your family! If you haven’t already jumped on the Christmas bandwagon just yet, we’ve got the perfect guide on how to plan your best December yet.
First things first, get decorating! If you’re in a house share, all throw some money in and get some tinsel, a tree (and some mistletoe of course!) There are loads of cheap shops where you won’t have to splash out to kick the festive season off in style so go wild at you local pound land or charity shop.
Christmas is the perfect time to pretend you’re on Come Dine With Me and to have a go at making your own Christmas dinner. Don’t panic, it doesn’t have to be an expensive meal and if there’s a few of you, make sure you buy in bulk and keep an eye out for bargains at your local supermarket and butcher. Crackers and mulled wine at the ready!
Whilst your lectures are winding down and your brain has already switched off, watching all your old favourite Christmas films is the perfect way to while away an afternoon, you can never get bored of Love Actually! As soon as it’s dark outside, stick the Michael Buble on and you’re ready for the festive drinking games to begin.
We’ll have our guide on the best Student Christmas nights out in Liverpool next week, so make sure you check back for the best drinks offers and fancy dress parties in the city.
