Freshers Week for Liverpool Universities
The most hotly anticipated week of the student calendar is just around the corner and we can’t wait to dive in!
We’ve rounded up the events from the three main universities in the city, so you know exactly where to be, when!
University of Liverpool
Events kick off the week of events next Saturday with ‘Mixer’ – a new nightclub night with resident DJ. Then there’s a jam-packed programme over the next 7 days including Jaguar Skills, Wilkinson, Seann Walsh, Lethal Bizzle, The Pigeon Detectives and Sub Focus. Find the full run down of events here.
The freshers fair takes place on Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd October and we’d definitely recommend heading down to see what’s what!
Liverpool John Moores University
The JMU Freshers’ Festival will begin next Saturday (19th) and will see 21 club nights and a welcome ball stretching over two weeks.
Their freshers fair is taking place on Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th September in the Exhibition Centre next to the Echo arena. It’ll run from 10am-4pm and it’s the perfect place to head for lots of useful student freebies and to join clubs and societies.

Liverpool Hope University
Hope Uni are holding a Secret Warehouse party on 19th September to begin their freshers celebrations. A welcome ball with Sigma, in association with LJMU. will be hosted on Wednesday 30th and is a great way to get dressed up and meet a whole host of new friends!
