Secure your student housing for the festive break and have a very Merry Christmas!

As we say a fond farewell to you over the Christmas break, we wanted to give you a gentle reminder to ensure your student home is secure for the festive holidays ahead.

Make sure you have locked everywhere up properly, all windows are closed and bolted shut, set the alarm and make sure your curtains are drawn. If you’re not staying too far from your student housing, maybe pop in over the Christmas break to make sure everything’s ok and how you left it.

In the spirit of ‘look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves,’ check that all of your appliances are flicked off at the wall and that no little red lights are left glowing. It would be a good idea if you could set your central heating to come on for an hour a day to make sure your pipes don’t freeze. You’ll thank us if you’ve ever had to study when you’re rapidly loosing all feeling in your fingers!

The Rooms4u office will still be open on a part time basis through the Christmas and New Year period so if you need to give us a quick call, we can be reached on 0151 735 1440. If we can’t answer your call right away, there will be an answer machine message with an emergency mobile number in case of immediate problems.
